Example. Your jobs and profile are your own.
How it works
Your profile, the job, a package to review.
Import your profile
Upload the PDF LinkedIn exports, or a text-based résumé. Roles, education, skills and contact details become an editable draft. Add what you can back up, what you won't take and what never goes on a page.
Save a job
Paste the description, import a public posting URL, or save the page you're reading with the Chrome extension. Scout can also search for roles that match your profile.
Check the fit
Each job gets Apply, Caution or Skip against your own non-negotiables, with the reason. A Skip stops the package before it spends anything more.
Review the package
A résumé, cover letter, short note and screening answers, each built from your profile and reviewed for unsupported claims. Edit, copy or download the PDFs, then apply yourself.
Evidence
Nothing on the page you can't back up.
Your profile is the only source a draft may use. Everything written from it is checked twice before it reaches you: once by a separate review, once by code.
A second review for every document
After a draft is written, a separate model pass reads it against your profile and flags any claim it can't find there.
Numbers and citations, checked by code
Every number in a draft has to appear in your evidence, and every citation has to point at something real. Drafts that fail don't pass quietly.
Private terms stay private
List the names, clients and internals that must never appear. Every draft is checked for them before you see it.
Compensation stays off the page
Your targets inform fit and salary answers. They're never printed on a résumé, and a salary answer is flagged for you to confirm.
These checks reduce mistakes. They can't make a fact you supplied true, so read every draft before you use it.
Fit
Know whether a job is worth the package.
Every job is assessed against your non-negotiables before anything is drafted. You see the verdict and the reason, and a Skip stops the package.
Seed stage, an IC build role, and a portfolio and systems-design loop.
Strong match, but the loop includes a timed algorithm round.
A people-management role with six reports, which your profile rules out.
Research
A letter that names what they actually shipped.
The cover letter opens on something real and current about the employer, found by search and linked to where it came from, then maps it to what the job asks for and what you've done.
- Employer research runs on Anthropic's web search, on your key.
- A source is kept only if it came back from an actual search. Each specific links to it.
- Stealth companies and recruiter postings are marked as not researchable, and the letter leads on the job's own asks instead.
Automate
Start any step from a link, a tool or a schedule.
Everything that spends on your key asks first, or runs inside a monthly cap you set. Saving jobs and moving statuses are cheap and run straight away.
- Links
- Any action can start from a link. It opens a page that says what will happen and roughly how many requests it costs, and nothing runs until you press Run.
- API keys
- POST /api/v1/actions from Zapier, n8n or a script. Keys that spend on your Anthropic account need a monthly cap first.
- Repeating searches
- Scout can rerun a search on a schedule, within the cap. Home lists what it found this week, already assessed for fit.
- Status from email
- Wire an email trigger to the email action and employer replies move jobs forward in the Tracker.
- Webhooks
- An API key can carry a signed webhook for each finished run.
- Chrome extension
- Saves the posting you're reading, text and all, to your Jobs.

Your key, your documents
We never hold your model bill.
Every request runs on your own Anthropic key, and you can see what each one used. The documents are yours to edit, download and send.
- Your own Anthropic key, encrypted at rest and never shown again
- Logs show each run's measured usage and its cost at Anthropic's list prices
- Submitting an application is never available from a link or the API
- The last 20 versions of every document are kept; new PDFs never overwrite old ones
- Every document downloads as a PDF you can attach anywhere
Questions
Does it apply to jobs for me?
No. It prepares the documents and you submit them on the employer's site yourself. Submitting is never available from a link or the API, and the main workflow ends with you opening the employer's posting.
Whose AI key does it use?
Yours. Connect an Anthropic API key in Settings, or while importing your profile, and every research step, fit assessment, draft and evidence review runs on it. Usage is billed to that Anthropic account. A Claude chat subscription is separate and doesn't cover API usage.
What does it cost?
There's no plan to buy here. Each request runs on your Anthropic key at Anthropic's prices. A package is several requests, plus one evidence review per document; Logs shows what each run actually used.
Can it make things up?
It's built not to: drafts may only use what your profile says, a second review flags unsupported claims, and code checks every number, citation and private term. Those checks reduce mistakes; they can't make a fact true that you supplied wrong. Read every draft before you use it.
What does the fit assessment look at?
Your non-negotiables, preferences and target roles against the posting: the stage, the kind of work, the interview process where it's stated, and the compensation. It returns Apply, Caution or Skip with the reason, and a Skip stops the package.
Where does the research come from?
Anthropic's server-side web search. A URL is kept only if it appeared in the search results, and each specific in the research links to its source. Web search has to be enabled on your Anthropic account.
Which postings can it import?
Public pages it can read without signing in. Sites that need a login, render everything in the browser or block reading need the text pasted instead, or saved with the Chrome extension from the page you're on.
What happens to my LinkedIn PDF?
Its text is read on the server, sent to Anthropic on your key to be structured into an editable draft, and the PDF is deleted after reading. Nothing changes in your saved profile until you review it and press Save.
Your next application, ready to review.
Import your profile and connect your key in a few minutes. Nothing goes to an employer until you send it.
